FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bearing antifriction self-lubricating materials. Method of producing metal fluoroplastic material with mesh antifriction layer includes preliminary treatment of steel sheets by bronzing using diffusion saturation, roasting of porous layer in form of bronze-lath-net and filling cells of baked mesh by pressing non-oriented fluoroplastic film on hydraulic press. Surface of bronze-lath-net after injection of non-oriented fluoroplastic film is subjected to machining, after which non-oriented fluoroplastic film is applied on the processed surface of the bronze-lath-mesh film and the film is pressed at pressure of 120–150 kgf/cm2. Produced steel sheets with the baked bronze and aeneous net and the pressed fluoroplastic film are assembled into a package with separating pads and heat treated.
EFFECT: increased service life of friction bearings from metal fluoroplastic material with mesh antifriction layer due to increased contour and actual areas of contact during manufacturing.
