FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of multi-layer anti-friction self-lubing materials and can be used in machine building, aircraft engineering, chemical and other industrial branches to manufacture anti-friction bearings and supports operated both lubed and dry. Bronze-and-brass grid is sintered to steel base. Sintered grid powers are filled by powder mix and hot-formed at 150° to 160° and specific pressure of 35 to 50 MPa. Powder mix comprises, in percent by weight: super high-molecular polyethylene - 30…50 and graphite fine powder - 50…70.
EFFECT: simplified process of producing sheet anti-friction materials, expanded applications, longer life of friction units.
