AUTOMATED MULTISTORY GARAGE-STOREHOUSE AND GEAR FOR LONGITUDINAL TRANSLATION OF TRAY Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: structures intended to keep great number of cars and equipped with mechanical means for vertical and horizontal transfer of cars. SUBSTANCE: automated multistory garage-storehouse has shape of rectangle on which two sides cells to store cars are located. Gear includes platform to transfer cars between cells on tray, mechanism for movement of tray into storage cell and back on platform, elevator to lift cars to stories of platform and back. Gear has drive for movement of platform in horizontal plane on story. Drive with sprocket and rails placed in floor is mounted in floor and has shape of closed rectangle. Satellites-bogies with guiding rollers for trays without driving mechanism are placed in sequence one after another to form garage module to store cars. Brackets with rollers are attached to one longitudinal wall of satellite-bogie and brackets with guiding straps are attached to another wall. Rollers of one satellite-bogie located on brackets are arranged in symmetry with longitudinal axis of guiding straps mounted on brackets of another satellite-bogie. Garage-storehouse has gear for longitudinal movement of tray with car or tray alone into storage cells and back, elevator carrying platform, tray with cogwheel rack, guiding rollers on platform, mechanism moving tray with two drive gear wheels and electric motor, mechanism to lay cable, unit fixing tray. In correspondence with invention unit fixing tray has rocker-type drive coming in the form of hydraulic cylinder and two sprockets. Hydraulic cylinder is mounted for turn of body of rocker-type drive with reference to shaft and sprockets are mounted for engagement of cogwheel rack of tray and its transfer to satellite-bogie.
