FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine is designed for use as pump or compressor. It contains pistons, shafts connected with pistons by articulated joints including crossmembers, working flats and running rollers, gears secured on piston and output (synchronizing) shafts, compression chamber, and valve head. Curvilinear slot is made on surface of cylinder in which transfer mechanism running rollers are arranged. Said running rollers are installed on crossmember. According to other design version, curvilinear slot in which running rollers of transfer mechanism are installed, is made on side surface of piston. Said slot is essentially closed, curvilinear multiperiod groove, and extreme points arranged at maximum distance from compression chamber are asymmetrical relative to extreme points arranged at minimum distance from compression chamber. Length of section of groove corresponding to suction phase is larger than length of section of groove corresponding to displacement phase, and angle of tilting of groove relative to plane perpendicular to piston axis on section corresponding to suction phase is smaller than similar angle of tilting on sections corresponding to displacement phase. Invention provides asymmetrical working cycle, complete and effective conversion of energy, reduction of mechanical and hydraulic losses. EFFECT: improved performance. 3 cl, 5 dwg
