FIELD: nuclear power engineering; thermonuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: reactor has evacuated vessel with horizontal and vertical ports that accommodates segments of internal and external blankets with fastenings and supporting structure. Hinged supports are mounted between vessel and supporting structure under horizontal ports; supporting structure is made in the form of beds for internal and external blankets; hinged supports are, essentially, posts terminating in ball supports; ball supports of opposite ends of posts are respectively secured on vessel and beds. Each hinged pair has two posts; points of fastening ball supports to beds and to vessel are located at corners of isosceles trapezium ; height of ball-support post in internal- blanket bed amounts to 0.35 of that of hinged-support post in external blanket bed. Segment fastenings are made in the form of branched pipes of inlet and outlet lines their bottom ends being fixed to rear walls of segments and top ones, to platforms mounted in vertical ports for radial and vertical displacement. EFFECT: reduced impact of thrusts on vessel due to off-centered position of blanket-to-vessel mass load. 7 cl, 10 dwg
