METHOD OF PREPARATION OF FOAM CONCRETE MIX AND DEVICE FOR METHOD EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2213004 C1

FIELD: technology and equipment for continuous production of foam concrete mixes; applicable in industrial and construction engineering in manufacture of building structures from foam concrete. SUBSTANCE: method includes dosed loading of mix of dry components of filler and binder into working chamber, moving and mixing of loaded mix with help of screw conveyor, mixing of material by paddles secured to screw conveyor shaft, preparation of technical foam, introduction of foam into treated mix between paddles and discharge of finished product out of chamber. Mix is treated successively in three stages. At the first stage, mix is mixed by paddles and technical foam is introduced by mixing between paddles. At the second stage, mix is mixed and moved towards discharge with help of screw conveyor. At the third stage, mix is subjected to additional mixing by paddles with foam introduction and mixing with mix, and mix is displaced to periphery of working chamber. At the first and third stages, technical foam is supplied to working chamber at temperature of 25-55 C. Device for preparation of foam concrete has bin for dry mix of filler and binder connected with working chamber in form of cylinder stretched along axis and closed by ends with loading and discharging branch pipes, working member installed along working chamber and made in form of drive shaft on which screw conveyor and paddles are mounted, and foam generator with system of pipelines for supply of technical foam to working chamber between paddles. Drive shaft is made with two screw conveyors located at both ands of shaft and sections with paddles secured to shaft. Foam generator is made with branch pipes with control cocks for supply of compressed air and working solution of foaming agent to foam generator. Pipelines for foam supply connect foam generator to each said sections with paddles. Foam generator has heater located on branch pipe for supply of working solution of foaming agent. Heater heats said solution. EFFECT: extended functional potentialities due to increase of height of finished working mix of foam concrete through pipeline after its coming out of working chamber and reduced time required for attainment of lining strength of foam concrete. 6 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
