FIELD: deafeners. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creating light-weight sound-absorbing and heat-insulation materials, which can be, in particular, used to shield aircraft engines thereby reducing level of noise on the earth surface, etc. Material contains 50-80% of hollow sol microspheres, 10-25% of phosphate binder, and 10-25% of electrocorundum. Dosed ingredients are mixed to give mixture, which is molded and then hardened at 250-300 C. EFFECT: increased compressive resistance and sound absorption coefficient, lowered molding temperature, and reduced expenses on manufacturing products. 2 cl, 2 tbl
