FIELD: insulation materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention provides light-weight wideband sound-absorbing and heat-insulation materials suitable for use in aircraft and automobile industries for protective shields of engines and sound-absorbing protection for highways. Material comprises 20-35% hollow sol microspheres, 32.5-40% phosphate binder and, additionally, 32.5-40% electrocorundum-based fine powder. Preparation: dosage, mixing all indicated components, and molding at temperature raised to 250-300оС.

EFFECT: widened sound absorption band, increased compaction strength, and widened absorption band, increased compaction strength, and lowered molding temperature.
