FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used to convert mechanical energy of internal combustion engines into electric energy. It is designed for use as transport power plants in hybrid vehicles or as emergency power supply sources. Proposed plant includes engine with combustion chamber, head 3, ignition system and linear generator with fixed stator and rotor mechanically coupled by rigid tie- rod 7 with drive link 8 of engine. Combustion chamber is made in form of bellows with fixed flange 9 and movable flange 10, corrugations 11, bottom 12 and volume compensator made in form of cup 13. Fixed flange 9 is essentially ring hermetically secured on head 3 and projecting beyond the outline of contour 14 of outer surfaces of corrugations 11. Movable flange 10 is made in form of ring projecting inwards contour 15 of inner surfaces of corrugations 11. Bottom 12 is made in form in form of hermetically sealed joint of movable flange 10, flange 16 of rigid tie-rod 7 and cup 13. Bellows chamber 2 is of welded design with possibility of folding corrugation 11 into tight pack. Outer surface of bellows chamber 2 is furnished with cooling ribs 17 which do not project beyond the height of corrugations 11 by size of welded seams of neighbor corrugations 11.
