FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by means of structural integration of two prototypes: corrugated and cylinder-piston ICE. In a hybrid by means of a connecting sleeve there arranged is synchronous detonation of a fuel-air mix both in a working corrugation chamber and in a flame chamber beyond the corrugation. Therefore, compensation of a head inside the corrugation by an anti-head outside the corrugation unloads the corrugation from breaking forces. This, in its turn, provides a possibility of building corrugated ICE based on low-pressure and free-flow corrugations. As per thermodynamic laws, non-cooled corrugated engines have sufficiently high efficiencies and mean a new generation of ICE.
EFFECT: implemented engine design under present conditions when there are no corrugations capable of sustaining high detonation pressures of a fuel-air mix in a corrugated working chamber.
