FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, wind energy is converted into thermal energy by compressing. Air is compressed to 1-3 MPa, heat liberated at compression is accumulated in heat accumulator by melting of substances, air is again compressed to 5-10 MPa, liberated heat is accumulated and then compressed air is accumulated in constant-pressure pneumatic accumulator after which compressed air and heat are used as required. Described method is implemented by corresponding complex. EFFECT: reduced energy losses in process of utilization of wind energy, improved reliability and increased service life, simplified design and cut down cost of manufacture of set. 3 cl, 1 dwg
