FIELD: sealing units working under extremal conditions of mechanical and thermal loads. SUBSTANCE: section of sealing member provided with low-modulus metal anti-friction coat has form of arch. Sealing the joint is effected by side surfaces of element being sealed which are brought in contact with surfaces of parts being connected by means of anti-friction low-modulus coat applied on outer surface. Sealing member is free to move along its axis which is oriented perpendicularly relative to fasteners, thus making it possible to form joints whose tightness does not depend on strength of fasteners within opening of joint. Free ends of sealing member are directed towards one of parts being connected , thus facilitating assembly process, since there is no need in check of compatibility of mating parts and sealing member; compatibility of one part and sealing member is only required. Antifriction low-modulus coat is made from metal to enhance thermal stability. To reduce efforts required for assembly, height of one of side elements may be lesser than that of other element.
