Abstract RU 2179471 C2

FIELD: gas generating equipment. SUBSTANCE: gas generator has casing with gas discharge opening, igniter, gas generating charge located in enclosure which is placed axially in casing so as to define annular cavity therein. Cooling layer is positioned in annular channel. Sleeve is arranged between cooling layer and enclosure in spaced relation with respect to enclosure. Annular cavity and gas generating charge enclosure are made hermetically sealed at the side opposite to the place of location of igniter. Gas generator may be used as low or high pressure gas source for replacement of powder, liquids, for overcharging of different types of vessels, as well as in other devices using inert low-temperature gas. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency by improved cooling of generated gas. 2 cl, 1 dwg
