FIELD: road safety. SUBSTANCE: multilayer rear-view mirror includes glass backing, high-reflection layer of aluminum and multilayer dielectric coat of alternating layers of aluminum oxide and titanium oxide amounting to six layer deposited on it. Layer of aluminum oxide with geometric thickness of 113-115 nm borders on high-reflection layer of aluminum, geometric thickness of other layers of aluminum oxide and titanium oxide has value of 76-78 and 49-51 nm correspondingly. High-reflection layer of aluminum is deposited on outer side of backing and its geometric thickness is 200- 500 nm. This invention provides for protection of driver's eye-sight from dazzling in the night by improved suppression of reflection in narrow region of spectrum where zone of maximum sensitivity of human eye in the dark is located with simultaneous rise of level of integral reflection in visible region of spectrum.
