FIELD: medicine, cardiology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anti-arrhythmic medicinal agent with regulating beta-adrenoceptive blockade that comprises the combination of dextrorotatory and levorotatory isomers of sotalol or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts as an active component. The ratio range of dextrorotatory and levorotatory isomers in indicated combination is from 1.5:1 to 3.5:1. Invention describes oral and parenteral preparations and method of treatment of cardiological disease using indicated combination of sotalol isomers. Preparation is safety in treatment of arrhythmia in patients with ischemic heart disease and/or cardiac insufficiency. The most safety of ratio of dextrorotatory and levorotatory isomers of sotalol doesn't cause attenuation of heart beating and aggravation of cardiac insufficiency.
