FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: calves born from unvaccinated cows should be subcutaneously injected with formolalum vaccine against salmonellosis (paratyphoid) in calves either on the first and the fourth or the fifth days of life, correspondingly at the dosage of 1.0 and 1.5 cu. cm and on the twentieth and thirty fifth day of life at the dosage per 2.0 cu. cm. The present innovation enables to create tense immunity during the whole period of disease in question. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis. 1 tbl
