FIELD: bandaging materials. SUBSTANCE: suspension from gypsum dihydrate, water, cellulose ether, and polyvinyl derivatives at ratio 1:(0.25-0.6): (0.002- 0.012): (0.002-0.012) or from gypsum dihydrate, water, and polyvinyl derivatives at ratio 1:(0.25- 0.6):(0.005-0.03), respectively, is prepared, applied onto textile material, and thermally fixed thereon by drying coated textile material at 45-95 C in air flow followed by annealing at 95-150 C until content of gypsum dihydrate in plaster bandage attains 0.5 to 14%. Addition of polyvinyl derivatives, in particular polyvinyl ethers and their hydrolysis or alcoholysis products imparts plasticity to bandages. EFFECT: improved quality of plaster bandages. 12 cl, 2 tbl
