FIELD: municipal engineering, namely systems for providing enhanced efficiency of agitating solid domestic waste materials. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes arranged successively charging device and screening drum mounted with possibility of rotation around horizontal axis. Said drum is provided with rotation drive and it has unit arranged on its inner surface and designed for displacing solid domestic waste materials from charging end of screening drum to its discharging end. Screening drum is in the form of hollow straight polyhedral prism. Unit for displacing waste materials includes flat members successively arranged at least along one helical broken line and mounted normally relative to inner surface of respective face of screening drum. Said members are provided with dents at least on their ends turned to rotation axis of screening drum. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of agitation of solid domestic waste materials, simplified design, improved comfortability of using and repairing apparatus. 7 cl, 8 dwg
