FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for automation of electric train control. Proposed electric train control system contains run and speed sensor whose outlet is connected to speed metering unit, time mark generator whose outlet is connected to current time metering unit and second inlet of speed metering unit, pressure transmitter installed on brake main line, control panel connected to electric train control circuits, traction mode control unit and braking mode control unit, combustion unit, storage unit, clock-pulse generator, controller, two decoders, control, three interface units, indicator unit and speech information unit. Speed metering unit, time mark generator, current time metering unit, pressure transmitter and control panel are connected, respectively, to first, second, third, fourth and fifth inlets of first interface unit whose outlet is connected with first inlet of computer unit. Control unit, storage unit and clockpulse generator are connected, respectively, to second, third and fourth inlets of computer unit, clock-pulse generator being connected with seventh inlet of first interface unit. Control unit is connected to storage unit through controller. First outlet of computer unit is connected through second interface unit with indication unit, second outlet of computer unit is connected with speech information unit through third interface unit, third outlet of computer unit is connected to traction mode control unit through first decoder, fourth outlet of computer unit is connected to braking mode control unit through second decoder. Outlets of traction mode control unit, braking mode control unit and control panel are connected to electric train control circuits. Outlet of traction mode control unit is connected also to sixth inlet of first interface unit. EFFECT: improved accuracy of following train schedule and selection of running mode to reduce energy consumption. 2 dwg
