FIELD: metallurgy, alloys. SUBSTANCE: alloy comprises at least 83 wt.-% of magnesium; from 4.5 to 10 wt.-% of aluminum; zinc in the range from 0.01 to 1.0 wt.-% or in the range from 5 to 10 wt.-%, from 0.15 to 1.0 wt.-% of manganese; from 0.05 to 1.0 wt.-% of rare-earth elements; from 0.01 to 0.2 wt.-% of strontium; from 0.0005 to 0.0015 wt.-% of beryllium. Calcium is added to alloy in the amount above 0.35 (wt.-% Al 4,0)0,5 wt.-% but less 1.2 wt. -%. Alloys show reduced porosity but high resistance against creep and low sensitivity to formation of hot cracks. Invention can be used in casting process under high pressure and in casting into sand molds or in continuous casting into molds. EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of alloy. 12 cl, 7 dwg, 8 tbl _
