FIELD: road-building machines, designed for compaction of road- building materials by rolling and vibration. SUBSTANCE: wheel has main frame, set of flexible shells (tiers), axle to which additional hinged frame is fastened. Surface of contact of hinged frame with tiers consists of freely rotating rollers secured to axles in framework consisting of two parts interconnected in center by hinge. Framework ends are interconnected by vibration device. During roller operation, hinged frame with help of vibration device periodically compresses - releases flexible shells (tires) to make them strain whose directed action subjects compacted material to dynamic loads. Angle of application of dynamic vibropulses is regulated by angle of turn of hinged frame relative to wheel. EFFECT: higher efficiency of road-building material compaction. 3 dwg
