FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of consolidation of road pavements and bases by static and vibration-action rollers. Proposed device has angle transducer installed on frame, analog-to-digital converter, single-crystal programmable controller and indicator. Transducer constantly detects angle of frame tilting relative to horizontal plane which changes its value at each following pass of roller. Analog-to-digital converter transforms electric signal of transducer into digital signal. Single-crystal programmable controller processes digital signal and records difference in angles of tilting between preceding and following passes of roller. When angle of frame tilting remains practically constant, indicator signals that process of consolidation is completed. EFFECT: improved accuracy of control of material consolidation and efficiency of roller operations. 1 dwg
