FIELD: heat engineering equipment cleaning, particularly cleaning of boilers and heating batteries. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment of working surface with opener agent, washing of working surface with water and passivating thereof. Washing method includes pre- fermentation of 2-3 liters of pasteurized milk cooled up to 20-33 C using Lactobacillus culture, mixing prepared ferment, adding fresh whey; bringing total mixture volume up to 100 l, fermentation of ready mixture under temperature of 20-33 C within 2-3 days with stirring of mixture each 3-4 hours for 5 minutes; pouring of ferment and fresh whey in proportion of 10:90 mass % into equipment; loosening of deposits within 4-5 days with periodically pumping of mixture with 0.5-1.0 m/s rate every 2 - 2.5 hours for 10-15 min.; pumping of mixture with 2-2.5 m/s rate on reaching of 3.5 - 2.5 pH mixture acidity level and passivating equipment with 5% sodium solution with 20-25 C temperature within 1 hour.
