FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves analyzing distraction regenerate equivalents produced in the process of long tubular bone elongation with zones of interest being selected. Longitudinal histotopographic preparations are examined as the equivalents. Their digitally processed images are used for measuring bone splitters and regenerates width, bone segment areas and total area of regenerates. The same histological preparations are examined with microscope. Each vision field image selected in making random selection is digitalized and total area of the image and the area occupied by spongious and compact bone tissue of distraction regenerates and bone fragments are measured. The obtained data are processed. The revealed relations are interpreted as estimates of bone formation process. EFFECT: high accuracy and objectivity in evaluating morphologic relations in the field of distraction regenerates formation.
