SUBSTANCE: method designed for decontaminating and recovering radioactive wastes of nuclear power stations, research organizations, industrial and medical enterprises using various radioactive isotopes involves following procedures: liquid and/or solid wastes are placed in liquid medium and additionally activated by cavitation which is generated in liquid medium by applying cyclic alternating loads.
