FIELD: chemical production, in particular, process and equipment for purification of sewage water and preparing of hydraulic fuel.

SUBSTANCE: method involves processing toxic substance in liquid reaction medium by cavitation; placing container with toxic substance into hermetically sealed reservoir and completely filling the latter with water used as liquid reaction medium and severing container; during severing procedure, providing forced circulation of liquid reaction medium within reservoir and simultaneously exciting vibration cavitation over the entire volume of reservoir; directing resulted emulsion into volumetric-vibration cavitation reactor and providing processing of toxic substance by recirculation of emulsion between reservoir and volumetric-vibration cavitation reactor. Also, apparatus for destruction of toxic substances is described in Specification.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in cavitation destruction of toxic substances.
