FIELD: cigarette industry. SUBSTANCE: material for processing of cigarette side-stream smoke is manufactured from sheet of inflammable active components. Material has porosity maintaining normal free burning rate of conventional cigarette. Material may comprise sorbent capable of sorbing side-stream smoke components, and oxygen storing component, which releases oxygen at free burning rate temperatures for maintaining normal free burning rate and improving oxidizing treatment of adsorbed non-aqueous components. Oxidation catalyst is preferably included into material, and it is most desirable that oxygen storing component be acting as oxidation catalyst. Cerium oxides are especially preferable materials serving double functions.
