SUBSTANCE: the device for milling of polymeric and mechanical rubber materials has a feeding hopper, fixed and movable disks and knife members made in the form of rack-type gears. The number of the rack-type gears on each disk is at least two. Profiled bulges of the rack-type gear of one disk are positioned in profiled cavities of the rack-type gear of the other disk, and the end face edges of these rack-type gears at engagement form comb knives milling the delivered material. The fixed and movable disks have additional rack-type gears located on the generating lines of these disks. The end face edges of the comb knives of the fixed disk in development are made in a helix. The end face edges of the comb knives of the movable disk in development have a rectangular shape. EFFECT: enhanced capacity, process potentialities, reduced losses on friction, enhanced degree of material milling and its homogeneity. 6 cl, 19 dwg
