FIELD: waste crushing. SUBSTANCE: the waste crusher has a feed hopper, movable and fixed disks with inner cavities in the form of truncated cones and knife members, with a casing-hopper for crumb picking around the edges of the disks, and an unloading chute. The movable and fixed disks are made in the form of chuck plates, the angle at the vertex of whose truncated cones is determined from the condition of minimum friction as crumb moves from the centre to the periphery. The knife members are made in the form of replaceable knives installed at an angle to the radii of the chuck plates determined from the condition of crumb motion with a minimum friction between the knife and displaced crumb. Installed on the movable chuck plate are blades providing for crumb cooling by air flow. Installed on the fixed chuck plate is a ring engaged with a gasket, whose thickness corresponds to the size of the outlet gap. An antifriction coating with a low rubber friction coefficient is applied onto the surfaces of the chuck plate cones and casing-hopper. An antifriction coating with a low rubber friction coefficient and hardness providing for realization of the effect of self-sharpening of the knife with its wear is applied onto the front edge of the knives.
