FIELD: machine engineering, namely processes and methods for enhancing wear resistance of different types of threaded joints. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of moistening surface of threaded joints at rotating technological fluid and applying onto said surface coating of ductile copper-containing alloy; using technological fluid containing (mass.%): copper salts, 3 - 5; zinc salts, 1 - 2; glucose, 5 - 10; boric acid, 3 - 10; glycerin, 40 -50; water - the balance; washing treated surfaces by means of 5-15% aqueous solution of glycerin and drying them by different ways; at first applying onto dried coatings vanish such as XB-784 or the like and then applying layer of lubrication composition including 1 - 99% of copper-containing powder or fine powder in grease. Method provides smoothing of treated surface of threaded joint, its lowered roughness. EFFECT: increased strength of undersurface layer of threaded joint due to cold working. 2 cl, 1 ex
