FIELD: gas producing industry, mainly, control of tubing-casing annular space gas crossflows in wells at gas fields and underground storages of gas. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of plugging composition to annular space of wells heated to temperature exceeding that of rock temperature by 15-30C, and subsequent well cooling to initial temperature. Plugging composition is used in form of saturated aqueous solution of ammonium chloride heated to temperature of heated wells. Introduced additionally into said solution of ammonium chloride is sodium chloride with the following amounts of components, wt.%: sodium chloride 26.0-26/2; ammonium chloride 15.7-15.9; the balance, water. In other version of method embodiment, introduced additionally into said solution of ammonium chloride is potassium chloride, with the following amounts of components, wt.%: potassium chloride 11.7-12.0: ammonium chloride 28.5-29.2; the balance, water.
