FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: stock of operating cylinder is connected to rope of rod of the well pump, and stock of cylinder of the drive consisting of gear and electric motor is connected to piston-rod of crank-and-rod mechanism with asymmetric transfer function. One valve of operating cylinder provides its connection to atmosphere, and the other one by means of hose - to inlet valve of the drive cylinder, which has the second valve connecting it to atmosphere. Action of valve of the operating cylinder, which connects it to atmosphere, is provided with electromagnet controlled with contact switch with time relay actuated at action thereon of the limit stop fixed on the stock of the operating cylinder. Piston of the operating cylinder is equipped with compression spring.

EFFECT: simplifying the pumping unit design, increasing its reliability.
