FIELD: electrical engineering; circuit-opening devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed release mechanism controlled by circuit-breaker differential current and mounted in case with cover and bottom has magnet-operated core with two pole shoes of which one carries electromagnetic coil; main double-pole hollow permanent magnet installed at bottom end on pivot of nonpermeable material linearly magnetized along diameter that contacts magnetic core through one of base surfaces and supporting plate, through other surface, this plate functioning at the same time as hanger for spring actuating valve-type armature with blade supports which is mounted on core pole shoes. Release mechanism is provided in addition with second double-pole hollow cylindrical permanent magnet linearly magnetized along diameter and with non-salient poles mounted on magnetic core at armature end for rotation about pivot made of non-permeable material. This pivot may be made in the form of variable-section rivet. EFFECT: improved design, stepless magnetic flux control, reduced impact of magnetic-circuit inherent drawbacks, reduced cost. 2 cl, 2 dwg
