FIELD: tobacco industry, in particular, production of low-toxic cigarettes. SUBSTANCE: filter has wrap and core made in the form of fiber strand with fibers of 1-4 denier. Core is impregnated with finely dispersed platinum powder used in an amount of 0.1-0.2% by weight of filter and at least one porous organic polymer with specific surface of 20-600 sq.m/g. Polymer is selected from group consisting of styrosorb, tenax and styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer and is used in an amount of 5-20% by weight of filter. Wrap may be made perforated, with perforations occupying 0.25-0.6% of wrap surface area. Strand may be manufactured from ester-cellulose, staple, lyocellular or thermoplastic filaments.
