FIELD: manufacture of thermoplastic composite materials, especially materials including layer of acryl resin; manufacture of baths and other sanitary outfit. SUBSTANCE: proposed composite material has laminar structure with layer of acryl polymer. Proposed composite material has first and second layers which are interconnected. First layer contains 40 to 95 mass-% of acryl polymer formed from monomer containing 60 to 100 % of methyl methacrylate and 0 to 40% of vinyl comonomer; at least 10% of monomer residues may not be substituted by styrene; second layer contains thermoplastic polymer. It is preferable to use shock-resistant polystyrene HIPS as material for second layer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 14 cl, 1 tbl, 8 ex
