FIELD: packing facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at final packing operations for packing articles in film. Proposed device contains conveyor for delivering articles, film rolls, welding, and cutting off mechanisms and carriage installed on guides for reciprocation. L-shaped grips are mounted on carriage. Film guide rollers are mounted on grips, and brake are installed on roll unwinding devices. One roll unwinding device is rigidly secured on conveyor, and the other, on carriage. Article holder is installed between conveyor and carriage, and welding and cutting off mechanisms are mounted on one of grips for contact with other grip. Brakes of rolls provide uniform tension of film, and use of movable grips makes it possible to pack immovable load. Movable carriage simplifies design of device.
