LONG-CUT ARTICLES WIRE BINDING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; wire binding of bars. SUBSTANCE: machine has wire twisting mechanism and binding mechanism, both installed on movable carriages. Binding mechanism has toothed sector, post coupled with guide for deflecting wire branch, reel, support roller for directing the wire, guide roller and T-shaped guide. Wire twisting mechanism is installed at angle of 25-35 degrees to vertical wall of lower right angle of machine pocket. Reel, guide and support rollers and post with wire on its free end arranged at nonoperative side of T-shaped guide are installed on toothed sector of winding mechanism at its initial position at one side relative to vertical axis of machine pocket. Guide is made in form of boom with tilting towards top of support roller groove with ports made in guide body, one in its lower part and the other, in form of longitudinal cut, in upper part opposite to above- indicated groove. EFFECT: provision of reliable and tight binding of pack of workpieces, both round and rectangular section. 2 cl, 4 dwg
