FIELD: hydraulic engineering, particularly, devices for water intake from water sources with high water-level fluctuation. SUBSTANCE: water intake device has bulkhead, drowned pump, axial vertical monoblock pump and pipeline made in form of two vertical wells, of whose one accommodates drowned pump, and the other, axial vertical monoblock pump. Bulkhead is fitted on pontoon for its submersion to under fluctuating water level and consists of diffuser whose internal surface carries spiral guides, mixing chambers communicated with atmosphere by means of flexible tube with nozzle whose internal surface is provided with curved helical grooves, converging tube connected with supplying tube by flexible pipeline. Installed at water inlet is perforated insert with wavy holes widening in direction of water flow, and fish protection structure. Mixing chamber is connected with pulser made of at least, four bent bimetallic plates freely fitted on vertical axle. Installed inside chamber is resonator made in form of vertical springy plate with lugs in form of clotoid from springy material. Pulser together with resonator form interference unit. EFFECT: increased operate reliability of water intake device and improved conditions for water intake from water source. 5 dwg
