CONVECTION CHAMBER DRIER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: drying equipment used in heat power industry, civil engineering and other fields. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention convective chamber drier intended predominantly for lumber piles has drying chamber in which specified temperature regime is maintained, axial fans, distribution device put on false ceiling in zone of supply of drying agent which directionally feeds 1/3 volume of drying agent to zone of upper pack of pile. Distribution device comes in the form of plate that is first placed in parallel to false ceiling and bends on its end by parabolic law. Its end terminates on axis of center of upper pack and imaginary line of continuation of plate thrusts against lower part of upper pack on side directed in opposition to feed of drying agent. Distribution device include turning joint enabling lower part of distribution device to be raised to level of false ceiling. EFFECT: improved quality of drying over height of lumber pile. 2 dwg
