FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: wood drying plant includes thermally insulated housing consisting of side walls and roofing, which comprise together with louvered grilles and false ceiling a "П"-shaped cavity which is divided with "П"-shaped partitions into transverse circulation channels. Vertical and horizontal plates made from flexible material are installed in location place of partitions. In addition, plant is equipped with screens with dimensions providing the possibility of their being moved through circulation channels. Heaters are divided into separate sections which are located in circulation channels and interconnected to steam pipe parallel to each other. Fans the shafts of which are connected by means of belt gear consist of pulleys and wedge belts, and are equipped with additional coaxial shafts with supports. Pulleys of belt gear are made in the form of electromagnetic coupling clutches the half-couplings of which are located on coaxial shafts.
EFFECT: reducing power consumption owing to controlling the length of working drying space and disconnecting the power consumed for non-working zones.
