FIELD: small-arms and gun armament, aiming of small arms at target and giving them stability while shooting. SUBSTANCE: small arms bipod includes base with axle hinged to legs. Linking device in the form of axle is mounted in hole of base for steady attachment to small arm and is fixed against axial movement in base with the aid of bipod axle. Linking device and base are fitted with stops to limit turn of weapon relative to bipod. Stop on base of bipod comes in the form of clamping mounted for turn and interaction with bipod on which cam surfaces are made and with stops on linking device. EFFECT: simplified design, possibility of quick separation of bipod from small arm for use without bipod. 2 cl, 4 dwg
