FIELD: radio engineering means establishing direction, position. SUBSTANCE: differences of phases between signals received by receiving elements of array located aboard artificial earth satellite that stays in geostationary orbit are measured. Measurement of difference of phases gives opportunity to find direction to unknown transmitter and to determine its coordinates in geocentric system of coordinates.
