FIELD: radio engineering means determining direction, position, measuring phase shift with use of antennas spaced apart. SUBSTANCE: array of four-dimensional clusters is formed. Each cluster comprises present values of range, angle of elevation, azimuth of satellite and phase of signal emitted by unknown transmitter. Two bases as minimum are selected to compute coordinates of unknown transmitter, one lying in meridian plane and the other one lying in plane of equator and then coordinates of unknown transmitter are computed. EFFECT: enlarged area of trajectory on which coordinates of unknown transmitter can be measured. 2 cl, 1 dwg
