FIELD: radio engineering; screens absorbing electromagnetic waves in microwave range. SUBSTANCE: surface being protected against irradiation by radar at different angles has a number of rolls tightly fitted to each other thereon. Each roll is, essentially, rolled up absorbing material of carbon-containing entangled threads placed in fabric bag. Spiral spring made of insulating material may be placed inside roll. Absorbing material may be made of synthetic-base carbon-covered threads, 15 to 30 cm long, their resistivity being 4 to 6 kOhm/cm. Roll diameter is 20-50 mm; spiral spring diameter is 10 to 25 mm; mass of threads per running meter of each roll is 10 to 15 g. EFFECT: enhanced uniformity of energy absorption characteristics. 7 cl, 3 dwg
