FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio physics, and the material is intended for absorption of electromagnetic radiation of the microwave range, and its structure and properties are adapted for use in equipment and creation of elements of wearing clothes for masking a person in the microwave range. Technical result of this technical solution is creation of such radar absorbent material, adapted for use in military equipment, which overcomes shortcomings of existing analogues: reduced number of layers of material to one and attenuation of reflection coefficient is not worse than -10 dB in frequency band from 10 GHz to 37.5 GHz with value of surface density of material not more than 100 g/m2. Material according to the proposed solution comprises one layer of dielectric polyester fibres, wherein on the surface of fibres by means of magnetron sputtering absorbing coating is applied such that on one side of polyester nonwoven material absorbing coating is formed with maximum density, and on absorbing coating with minimum density is formed on opposite side of polyester nonwoven material, wherein the surface density of the finished absorbent polyester nonwoven material does not exceed 100 g/m2, and value of vapour permeability of the ready absorbing polyester nonwoven material is not lower than 3 kg/m2day.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of masking a person from surveillance and detection means in the microwave range.
