FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: EME protection device comprises carbonaceous absorbent material and structural components made of radiotransparent material, which limit thickness of the device, wherein absorbent material is made as carbon-graphite filaments twisted in random way with diameter of 4-8 mcm and specific resistance of 10-4-10-6 Ohm×m, at that density of absorbent material in the device is equal to 0.0001-0.0009 g/cm3, and thickness of the device varies within the range of 10-30 mm. Complementary technical result is reached when structural elements limiting thickness of the device are made as dielectric grids with spacing of 5-15 mm with dielectric spacers glued between them at density of absorbent material of 0.00015-0.0003 g/cm3.
EFFECT: reduced reflection index and respective increase in absorption power.
