FIELD: wire-range current or voltage stabilizing sources electrically coupled with ac supply mains. SUBSTANCE: output current regulation method boils down to generation of control pulses by pulse-width modulation for high-frequency switches of first regulation circuit provided with load-current feedback, generation of control signal for direct switching of rectified supply voltage by means of second regulation circuit switch, simultaneous inversion and disjunction of control pulses for mentioned high-frequency switches, conversion of pulse lengths obtained into voltage which is algebraically added to reference voltage proportional to rated duty factor of control pulses of mentioned high-frequency switches; voltage obtained is used as error signal for controlling mentioned switch of second regulation circuit. Device for regulating output current of stabilizing pulse converter has supply mains rectifier, input LC filter, push-pull pulse converter with first and second high-frequency switches and output transformer, output rectifier, control circuit with load- current feedback circuit connected to its input, and isolating pulse transformers; device is provided in addition with third controlled switch, clock generator, linearly varying voltage generator, pulse- width modulation comparator, adder, pulse-length-to-voltage converter, disjunction gate, and reference-voltage source.
