REGULATED VOLTAGE CONVERTER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2264685 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering; secondary power supplies.

SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in regulated voltage converter is current sensor 15 inserted between second terminal of reactor 14 and common point of transistor switches 1, 2, its output being connected to second inputs of second delay circuit 18 and switching phase modulator 22 of transistor switches. Switching loss minimum depends on choice of interval length formed by delay circuits 17, 18.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability and efficiency due to reduced switching loss in transistor switches at any load current.
