FIELD: mobile communication systems. SUBSTANCE: mobile communication system uses satellite fleet and group of ground-based interfacing stations distributed over terrestrial globe for processing messages conveyed to and from subscriber mobile communication units, for instance mobile phones. Signals are transferred between subscriber unit and closest interfacing station through one or more satellites. Interfacing station system configuration ensures processing of requests for establishing connection on telephone call from subscriber mobile communication unit basing on location of the latter. As an alternative of implementing this invention each location in system coverage zone is displayed on set of information locations having similar size and shape. Each information location has data structure indicators defining among other things service providers entrusted to process calls conveyed to (or from) particular location from (or to) closest center of urgent services. Each location is also displayed on at least one virtual location of service provider holding preferences and requirements to processing of call conveyed to or from this location, and also unique location identifier.
