FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: one should form both surface and deep scleral fragments. Then surface scleral fragment should be returned to its place. Suturing fixation to underlying sclera should not be carried out. Implant is applied onto surface scleral fragment. It is made of microporous biologically compatible resolving polymeric material and it is of oval shape. The present innovation enables to apply implant containing a closed cavity filled with steroid preparation and/or antimetabolite. It, also, enables to develop mechanic barrier for development of conjunctival-scleral fusions, mechanic restriction for filtration of intraocular liquid to prevent hypotonicity and, also, provide liquid outflow in case of intraocular pressure increase.
